Refrigerator Left Unplugged With Food Inside

This working refrigerator was left unplugged for a long period of time with food left inside. As you can imagine, not only was the food rotten, but it was also filled with mold and stench. Because this appliance was in perfect shape other than the inside, the homeowner decided it was worth salvaging by hiring SERVPRO of Holland/W. Ottawa Co. to restore the unit. After removing the remaining contents from the refrigerator, technicians used our truck mount to pressure wash the shelves and drawers to remove the caked on food and mold. Microban was used to wipe down everything top to bottom as well as another product for the strong odor before the unit was turned back on for the homeowner.
