Soda Blasting Pole Barn
When a vehicle catches fire within a structure, the aftermath usually isn't pretty. Luckily, this homeowner in Coopersville didn't lose their pole barn. Unfortunately, the entire inside was coated with soot. In order to effectively remove the soot from the inside of the structure, we had to perform a process known as soda blasting. This is a form of mild abrasive blasting in which sodium bicarbonate particles are blasted against a surface using compressed air. This is often used in place of sand blasting, which is much more abrasive. This non-destructive method is used in a variety of situations including automotive restoration, rust removal, graffiti removal, soot removal, and more. Not only does soda blasting effectively clean fire/smoke damage, it also deodorizes. If you are in need of soda blasting, give us a call!
