High Winds Compromises Roof and Shingles
A spring storm with 60 mph winds the cause for many residential properties to sustain wind damage to siding, shingles and roofs. When the damage to your home is not repaired, you run the risk of water damage and eventually mold if not dried properly. The mold damage shown here is from a roof that was not repaired after a storm. The shingles were blown off exposing the wood beneath in which water invaded the attic every time it rained. With the continued leaking of the roof, it was the perfect water source for MOLD.
