Heavy Rain Floods School Basement

Throughout the month of May, Michigan experienced extremely heavy rains that resulted in water damage throughout the state. When it comes to flooding and a high water table, there is often one big problem. It is hard to discover where the water is coming in. Once you discover where the water is entering, we typically do not fully begin the restoration process until the water recedes and is no longer entering the facility. Our crew extracted the water that had flooded the basement of this school in Spring Lake, MI. When our crew noticed puddles reappearing, we informed the building manager and told them we would hold off on placing equipment until the water is no longer coming in. Unfortunately if the problem is not resolved, restoration work becomes ineffective and the repetition drives up cost.
